My Journey
From my early years in pursuing a degree in Petroleum Engineering and Environmental Management at Mbarara University of Science and Technology, my journey has been fueled by resilience and a desire for change. Along the way, I’ve worked with diverse communities, leading projects that focus on renewable energy, waste management, and youth empowerment.
As a co-founder of GreenRise Initiative particulary in the project of Canva Soap and an advocate for refugee education and climate action, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with organizations like the Mastercard Foundation and the World University Service of Canada through Refugee Youthchangemakers (RYCM). My work spans across sectors, but the unifying goal is clear: to drive sustainable development while ensuring no one is left behind.
Why Climate Action?
Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, and I believe that every action we take can make a difference. My projects focus on clean energy access, waste-to-energy solutions, and environmental sustainability, especially for underserved communities. I am committed to leveraging innovation to not only mitigate climate risks but also create lasting positive impacts for future generations.
What Drives Me
My core values revolve around resilience, inclusivity, and purpose. I believe that by combining innovation with empathy, we can tackle complex global challenges like climate change and social inequality. Whether it’s working with young entrepreneurs or developing technologies that address road safety and energy access, my mission is to create solutions that work for both people and the planet.
